AnonCog left a message from BC. Behind paywall but apparently unrelated to boys.

If you wish to see how an article looks like to the "rest of us" open it up in a private or incognito tab. With the tor browser the article opened up with a banner across it telling the readers that they have a choice between buying a subscription or read it for free with ads. Clicking on the "allow ads" option gets rid of that pop up for only the briefest of moments before a full page message pops up informing the reader that the article is for premium tier readers, which cost 1 peso for just the one article and then 6.99 pesos billed monthy if you choose to stay subscribed.

If other posters get away with abusing the rules it's because the cogs like them better. You are probably being singled out due to your gruff tone and always insulting the cogs. You really can't blame a group of unpaid volunteer moderators (or some anon element within) for not spending much time explaining things to someone they have grown to dislike back when you make it so very clear that you don't like them.

It's clear that you consider the moderators here subpar but what's not clear is why you keep on getting your hopes up that this time they will be different. Since you love parables so much, consider a gruff old man, Bobby who smokes Lucky Strikes walking in to a McDonalds and noticing that half of the customers and even a few of the employees are vaping. Since "smoking is allowed" Bobby lights up a cigarette and takes his place in line, but before he can order his nuggies he hears gasps coming from the people around. "You can't smoke in here," a teenage employee with "Chastity" on her name tag informs him.

"They're smoking," Bobby mews, motioning around the room.

"They are vaping," Chastity corrects him sternly. "It's just water vapor."

Bobby calls bullshit. Obviously non-vapers in the area will breathe in the ultrafine particles and substances such as heavy metals, lead and benzene, which have been shown to cause shortness of breath and bronchitis symptoms. He refuses to put out his cigarette and stands stubbornly in line until a security guard comes out to throw him out.

Bobby burns with resentment over the way he's been treated. He vows to visit that McDonalds occasionally and smoke while trying to order until they see the error of their ways. Weeks and then months go by and Bobby never lights up when continues to eat at all the various restaurants in the area which include vaping in their no smoking policies, but unless he happens to be out of cigs when he visits, he continues to light up when he enters McDonalds and continues to be kicked out without his nuggies.

Until one day Bobby wakes up late for work and doesn't have time for breakfast, and then when he goes out to the parking lot at lunch time he discovers that he's got a flat tyre, so he tries to quickly change it and go to lunch, but it's been a while since he used a jack and it takes him a while to change it and he decides to just get a candy bar and a bag of chips from the vending machine and spends his lunch in the break room watching rumble on his phone until the battery runs out. By the time he gets off work Bobby is famished. He rushes to his car and as he speeds off towards home he notices that his car is running a bit wobbly. He slows down and just as he pulls over to the side of the road his spare tyre wobbles off the axle and the car skids into the ditch. Bobby is shaken up, but fine and as he checks the damage he puts his hand in his pocket and finds the lug nuts that in his haste he'd forgotten to put on after connecting the tyre to the axle.

Dejected and alone Bobby starts trudging down the road in search of somewhere to buy a phone charger or borrow a phone to call for a tow, when suddenly a tow truck drives past him and pulls off to the side of the road in front of him, lowering his passenger window. Bobby approaches the window and sees a skinny young middle eastern looking guy with a beard. "You need help?" he man offers in a thick accent. Bobby agrees to pay for a tow and the man hooks him up and starts driving to the repair shop. "I was on my way to get dinner," the driver says. "It won't take but a minute." Pulling into the McDonalds without asking, the driver pulls around to the back so he can park across two spaces and the two of them walk in.

As they walk in Bobby sees the people vaping. "Oh it's this fucking McDonalds," Bobby says derisively. "I call this one 'McFuckalds' he announces, lighting up a Lucky Strike. "Oh, here come the 'McFucks' he says as the security guard comes out to meet them. Without a word of explanation needed they drag Bobby out the door and throw him in a puddle. "Those fucking McFucks!" Bobby grumbles. He starts shivering in the cold, so he takes his shirt off and wrings it out the best he can. He's about to put it back on when the tow truck driver taps him on the shoulder.

"Want to borrow my hoody?" the driver says, handing him the shirt off his back. Bobby puts it on and as he gets into the truck cab he sees a Happy Meal on the seat. "Thought you might be hungry," the driver nods. On the ride to the repair shop Bobby gobbles down the nuggies and fries while explaining to the driver how the McFucks at McFuckalds lost his respect letting other people break the rules but not him.

"Why not just go in, buy your nuggies and leave," asks the driver as he lowers Bobby's car at the repair shop. "I mean, the point of going to the restaurant is to get the food, right?" Bobby takes a breath to make an argument, but the tow truck driver pulls right out of the parking lot and starts to drive away.

"What's the charge?" Bobby yells after his savior.

"I got you my friend," the driver yells back. "Have a nice night!"

The repair shop, finding no damage to Bobby's axel, sells him a new tyre and puts it on for him. On the way home Bobby vows to be more careful the next time he changes a tyre and he starts introspecting on the way he's been acting lately. Just going off of raw reactions. Not thinking. Not being effective. At home, standing under a steaming hot shower, Bobby tells himself he's going to be a different person tomorrow. As he dries off with a clean towel he realizes he never got that driver's name and won't be able to return the hoody. He stretches the hoody out from the hook behind the bathroom door, exposing the tow truck driver's name patch.

The name on that hoody was "Jesus."
