BC Digest August 2026

This August on BC had a rough start with a few BCers such as BoysAreGuns still be reeling from the closure of bl12 we discussed last month. Times like these remind us of BC's value as a connecting spot for refugees from other spots. Connie and VulcanBomber showed the value of having an approved BC nickname when the other sites go down or ban us, like happened to BLueRibbon on substack. Just remember that there is a big difference between staying in touch with friends using a sketchy clearnet website verses making friends on one, which is much more dangerous. Anyone who feels tempted to share their email address or other contact methods should be warned that users have had their email accounts hacked after posting it to BC one time, so be very sure that you have a strong password and unguessable password reset questions on any accounts before mentioning them here. Obviously these BCers know better, but you never know when a newbie will stop by and not realize the likely negative consequences of filling in that optional email slot. Or returning oldies such as the long lost Thetes returning to his old stomping ground after some time away, looking around at the unfamiliar faces in this previously familiar environment. BC might look similar to how it looked back in the 1900's (yaroslav calls it the same tyred old arguments and links) but sources say the regular user base is much older and crazier now, which makes sense with how crazy the world is these days (yes kit's Daily Palestinian boy fix series is still going). Newbie sancho has been struggling with pedohysteria content. Rex is right there with him, as is beracine, returning after some time away to remind us that violent retribution taken against the children of sex facists would be "wrong." On the other crazy hand, we still have trolls like DirkDerp urging people to ignore the hysteria around animated cp and Tony Haugustus' attitude towards racially pure (and plump butted) boys raised some eyebrows. For the most part we overlook (or laugh at) the mentally disturbed posts, but sometimes they go too far, such as when yo01 brought up movie director Ivan Noel and the best, most enthusiastic response in the thread was promptly trolled by one of BC's most negative depressives, inspiring a large outpouring of support for the bullied Grenfield who nevertheless made a post asking if BC is about love or hate. Nightylight quickly jumped on the bandwagon with a similar post.

With such a rough beginning, you might expect that August would have turned out to be one big crazy flame war, but nope, after that little bump in activity the rest of the month was pretty quiet and there was a number of positive threads including Old Sick Puppy is experimenting with tor and the Tails OS. Those are important skills to have, especially when chatting on sketchy websites or watching boy content on screens.

Speaking of screens Wizard was not alone watching little league on his screen and Zzz... shared a tip on how to watch the games with a Fubo free trial.

Etenne has been going down the rabbit hole of low quality ai boy content on his screen.

AtosW's screen has been showing an old Iranian movie (fawnletmagazinelover provides a link) about a sissy boy who gets picked on but then finds the strength to be a proud trans girl, bullies be damned. By the way, check out Fawnlet Magazine if you haven't yet.

BarefootDreamer (and Manny!) has been enjoying old Flipper reruns. Speaking of Manny he seems to have either changed his nickname again or actually disappeared. Has anyone else noticed that the one time daily spammer has completely stopped posting? Some of Manny's parting shots included this recipe for aged Japanese rice, a link to a 1970's sex tourism guide outlining where to purchase impoverished local children for as little as $3/night and Manny's final post was this lengthy ai article about the different generations. BC might be quiet for a while, but this is not the time to bemoan BC's irrelevance in today's fast paced algorithmically driven world. Remember that the best crops grow from fallow fields. Clearing and weeding the plot might make it look dead for now, but future bumper crops may now have room to thrive.
