In fact we adhere to the boylinks standards when checking links in BC posts, although not as diligently. We depend largely on the vigilance of our readers. A site wanting to add itself to boylinks needs to be open to all for reading. Some sites have created private areas after being added to boylinks. And some of these have fallen into problems because of it.
