With regard to countering anti-BL comments online, a while back I myself thought of this strategy, and I went through a few days of not allowing any anti-BL comment to pass, on any forum that I read, without posting a rejoinder. This lasted only a few days, however, because I found it both very time-consuming indeed and rather exhausting emotionally. Obviously Jay Edson has more staying power than me! :)
