BC however from what I can tell seems to be a place where people go to try to get their worse instincts, fears and prejudices validated.

What are you on about?

There is a dominant culture here that is more about being mad at the world than unifying over anything, healing, self growth, etc.

why should I/we unify over anything? We share a sexual attraction/orientation in common. That doesnt mean I need to unify or agree with others on this board.

I don't however believe that BC speaks for or represents the greater BL community.

Neither the greater BL community, nor BC, speaks for or represents me.

won't decide the basic ground rules for respectful conversation
